An open bill with the 12th hole

Sergio Garcia was close to record a really low result today at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. He played better than his scorecard shows after a very long day finishing the remaining seven holes of round two plus the complete third round.

"It was a shame because it was a day to do perfectly six or seven under par, but it went the other way. With only two missed shots I made three bogeys," Sergio recounted after a score of 69 strokes in the third round, same score as in the second.

He is far behind the leaders, but wanted to finish his defense of the title with a really low round. He still wishes to settle an open bill with the 12th hole, which he played only bogey for the first three days.
