"I could have easily shot 66 or 67"

If golf were soccer... "As we say in soccer I hit the post five or six times, but the most important thing is that they were good shots. These things happen. The only thing you can do is hit the ball the way you know and hope for the best. Sometimes they drop, sometimes they lip out…".

Clear conscience... "I don’t feel I “spared” the course. If I had hit bad putts, perhaps I would have had that feeling, but there were many good putts. Only a couple hadn’t any chance of dropping, maybe on the 15th or the 16th, but the ball didn´t roll true. If you know you´ve given your best, you don’t have to worry too much. Today, I could have easily shot 66 or 67, but I ended up with a 70".

Bogey at 18... "I hit a good 9 iron and had a great feeling, but the wind didn’t catch it as I expected and narrowly ended up in the water. At least I managed to get up and down from there to save the bogey.
