Sergio Garcia wins the KLM at the first attempt

Sergio García has won the KLM Open in the Netherlands after an impressive performance at The International Golf Club in Amsterdam. Vini, Vidi, Vinci.

Sergio lifts the trophy on his very first visit to the Netherlands. He won in a superior way, in the lead from start to finish. Sergio shares his moments of victory with all his family, who accompanied him the whole week. "It's very nice to win the first time they come to a tournament and a country and much more to do it with my whole family in front, with Angela and the small Aza," he said.

It is the sixteenth title of Sergio on the European Tour and he is now ranked third in total number of wins, only behind Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy.

His next stop will be the Spanish Open at Club de Campo Villa in Madrid. Nothing could make him more excited than to return home with a trophy under his arm.
