Sergio has recorded his third best run of his career at Hilton Head

Sergio Garcia has finished the RBC Heritage, the second tournament on the PGA Tour after the coronavirus hiatus, with a great achievement. He has been able to squeeze his great golf at the Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head and has fought for victory until the last hole, with a fantastic sequence of three consecutive birdies in the final stretch of the tournament.

He finally finished in fifth position with a cumulative total of -19. Sergio chained three rounds of 65 strokes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, a fantastic streak that had only been achieved twice before in his career, at the Deutsche Bank Championship in 2013 and the Castelló Masters n 2011.

This shows his great talent and is building up self-confidence to be hopefully converted into future successes. This week he plays in the Travelers Championship, a tournament and a course, the TPC River Highlands, where he has done very well before. He became second in 2014.
