Sergio still has a shot at winning

After signing a 70 for eleven under, Sergio lost the overnight lead but still have a solid chance at victory. He is only four strokes away from Chris Wood, leader of the tournament.

Garcia's game shined again in Qatar. After six holes, he was three under for the day and on the out nine he hit all the greens and had many birdie chances more.

Although Sergio was superb from tee to green, he faced the fierce opposition of Doha Golf Club’s greens. He hit some good putts, but today they just did not want to drop. “As we say in soccer I hit the post five or six times, but the most important thing is that they were good shots", he said after the round, quite pleased with his game.

Up to now, Garcia has played very solidly with only three bogeys in 54 holes, two of them in the last three holes of today’s round. Prior to that, he did not commit any mistakes through 48 holes.

Sergio still has a chance at victory and he does not plan on backing down. He is aware it will be difficult and he reckons that he will need to be around 65 to be able to stay in the fight.
