Sergio with stellar performance on the weekend in Quail Hollow

Sergio Garcia offered a new lesson in persistence during the Wells Fargo Championship, PGA Tour tournament played at the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte.

The Spaniard managed to make the cut on Friday and used the weekend to demonstrate that it is always worth fighting. In fact, he not only played very well and carded two excellent rounds – his score of 65 on Saturday was his best ever -, but he got into the fight for victory in the last nine holes on Sunday.  

At the end he finished fourth to deliver his best ranking on the PGA Tour tournament this year.In his last two events, the Zurich Classic and the Wells Fargo Championship, Sergio showed that he is good form for the upcoming PGA Championship, the second Major of the season and the tournament which will celebrate also his 20th anniversary on Tour!
